The cadastral area of the village stretches from the Western Tatras\u00b4 southern slopes on the north to the shores of the dam Liptovsk\u00e1 Mara on the south. After building the dam, Liptovsk\u00fd Trnovec became a&nbsp;summer tourist resort. In addition to a&nbsp;well-known camping site, several guest houses and apartment facilities have been built in the last five years, and therefore a&nbsp;population in our community triples every summer. A&nbsp;nearby water park Tatralandia and an adjacent town of Liptovsk\u00fd Mikul\u00e1\u0161 make a&nbsp;stay in Liptovsk\u00fd Trnovec more attractive. Our village thus became a place, where advantages of staying in a rural environment are combined with advantages offered by the nearby busier regional centre.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">All important information about our village is found on our website.
