The upper reservoir was built on a hill in a place called \u201eVy\u0161n\u00e9 sokoly\u201c at an altitude of <\/span><strong>1,160 m asl<\/strong><span>. The second part of the plant with water reservoir was built in the valley at an altitude of <\/span><strong>733 m asl<\/strong><span>. The pumped hydroelectric energy storage is <\/span><strong>the largest of its kind in Slovakia<\/strong><span>. The upper reservoir offers <\/span><strong>panoramic views of the whole region of Liptov, and the Western and High Tatras<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The reservoir is a wonderful <a href=\"https:\/\/plannervisit.krasno.dev\/en\/route\/upper-water-tank-cierny-vah-from-vychodnaah\/\">destination for cycling<\/a> or a <a href=\"https:\/\/plannervisit.krasno.dev\/en\/route\/spoznaj-lesnu-zeleznicu-cierny-vah\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">longer walk.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pumped hydroelectric energy storage \u010cierny V\u00e1h consists of two tanks.
