{"id":133682,"date":"2018-08-06T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2018-08-05T22:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.visitliptov.sk\/experiences\/hiking\/poistenie-do-hor\/"},"modified":"2021-01-04T15:13:52","modified_gmt":"2021-01-04T14:13:52","slug":"poistenie-do-hor","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/plannervisit.krasno.dev\/en\/poistenie-do-hor\/","title":{"rendered":"Mountain insurance"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Liptov is a mountain destination and we always recommend visitors and tourists not to forget about insurance to the mountains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span>According to the valid law of Slovak Republic about Mountain Rescue Service (HZS), the injured person located in a mountain area is obliged<\/span><strong> to pay HZS costs associated with rescue activities<\/strong> or searches related to it (this obligation does not apply to underage persons \u2013 children and persons who do not have legal capacity).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span>To cover the risks associated with the possible costs caused by the HZS intervention, the visitor takes out <\/span><strong>commercial insurance<\/strong> called &#8220;mountain travel insurance&#8221;.
