look around the Liptov meadows and hills. Go for the natural beauty that awaits you at every turn. Liptov offers one of the most picturesque natural scenery in Slovakia. Its territory is surrounded by the mountains of Ve\u013ek\u00e1 Fatra, the ridge of Cho\u010dsk\u00e9 vrchy, Ve\u013ek\u00e1 Fatra, the ridge of the Western and Low Tatras. The most valuable natural values are protected in the Tatra National Park, the Low Tatras National Park and the Ve\u013ek\u00e1 Fatra National Park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rivers \u010cierny and Biely V\u00e1h originate in Liptov, and their confluence forms the longest Slovak river V\u00e1h. If we add to this the underground wealth in several publicly accessible caves and numerous springs of healing mineral and thermal waters, as well as the Liptovsk\u00e1 Mara water reservoir, the natural picture of Liptov is almost perfect.<\/p>\n\n\n\t
