The trail was built in the last century, but after the floods and due to time it required reconstruction. It begins in the village of Liptovsk\u00fd J\u00e1n at the spring of Teplica, continues through the village to the spring of Medok\u00fd\u0161, or the footbridge over the River V\u00e1h at Borov\u00e1 Siho\u0165, and further to the village of Liptovsk\u00e1 Por\u00fabka. The trail itself is linear and bidirectional, it has a length of more than 5.5 km and consists of 6 stops with information boards focusing on local history, fauna and flora, and arbours with benches. The walk takes 1.5 – 2 hours. The trail is suitable for both pedestrians and cyclists thanks to its rugged and paved sections.<\/p>\n <\/div>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n

Parking at the beginning of the trail is <\/span>free of charge<\/strong> but with limited capacities. Other paid and free parking lots are available across the village of Liptovsk\u00fd J\u00e1n which, as one of the tourist centres in the Liptov region, provides sufficient parking capacity.<\/p>\n

You can get to Liptovsk\u00fd J\u00e1n <\/span>by bus<\/strong> from Liptovsk\u00fd Mikul\u00e1\u0161. The beginning of the trail is just a few steps from the bus stop located in the centre of the village. To get back, take a bus in the village of Liptovsk\u00e1 Por\u00fabka or simply head out to the train\/bus station in the town of Liptovsk\u00fd Hr\u00e1dok by foot.<\/p>\n <\/div>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n
