Bac\u00fach \u2013 Bac\u00fa\u0161ske sedlo (1315 m n.m.) \u2013 Vy\u0161n\u00e1 Boca<\/p>\n\n\n
The village of Bac\u00fach is an ideal starting point for hiking, for example, up to the Low Tatras ridge. As there is a nature trail Bac\u00fach – Vy\u0161n\u00e1 Boca, you can get to know the surroundings during your hike. The tradition says: “Bac\u00fach, Boca, od jedn\u00e9ho otca”<\/em> which means “Bac\u00fach, Boca come from the same father”.<\/em> Both villages are historically connected by mining as well as by the mountain pass of \u010certovica and the saddlebacks of Bac\u00fa\u0161ske Sedlo and Ram\u017ea. It is a kind of symbolic connection between the regions of Liptov and Horehronie.<\/p>\n This medium level blue trail takes about 5 and a half hours. It is 14 km long with an elevation of 690 m and leads mostly through the forest. On the top of the saddleback, there is the meadow Ram\u017ea, where there is also a shelter hut (1260 m asl). This is the place where most tourists stay overnight when crossing the main ridge of the Low Tatras. Approximately 300 m west of the hut you will find a spring of drinking water.<\/p>\n It is a bidirectional, linear, self-guided trail with a guide on request, and open to pedestrians in summer. It is a medium level trail. There are 5 information panels along the trail providing data about the village of Bac\u00fach, the water spring of Bo\u017eena N\u011bmcov\u00e1, about the locality of Podvrch, the saddleback of Bac\u00fa\u0161ske Sedlo and the village of Vy\u0161n\u00e1 Boca. Individual panels are focused on nature and its protection, history and mining. The trail also includes an entrance to a mine where copper was mined.<\/p>\n <\/div>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n
