A grassy peak, which on the northern side is\nadjacent to the alpine ski area Zelen\u00e1 dolina (Zelen\u00e1 valley) on the Orava side\nof the Western Tatras.\n\nHowever, the route leads in free terrain, so it is not\nsuitable for less experienced skiers or beginners (especially in the case of\nicy conditions).\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n The route starts at the mouth of\n\u017diarska valley (\u017diarsk\u00e1 dolina), right at the parking lot. Here, the road divides in the direction to the left into the area of \u200b\u200bVe\u013ek\u00e9 Z\u00e1vraty (also direction of Hrub\u00e1 kopa peak), and in the direction to the right to Mal\u00e9 Z\u00e1vraty (Pla\u010dliv\u00e9 and \u017diarske sedlo).<\/p>\n\n\n\n The mentioned crossroads is followed by a steep section between knee\ntimber trees. This section is often slippery, hard, with bumps, and sometimes\nit is necessary to use ski crampons at this point. If the conditions are bad it is\npossible to end the hike here, at an altitude of approximately 2050 masl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n From the Saddle it is only about 200 meters of elevation gain more to\nHrub\u00e1 kopa peak.
