{"id":212955,"date":"2023-01-19T10:22:08","date_gmt":"2023-01-19T09:22:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.visitliptov.sk\/trasa\/bezkovanie-trasa-na-haji-nicovo-liptovsky-mikulas\/"},"modified":"2023-08-01T15:46:45","modified_gmt":"2023-08-01T13:46:45","slug":"cross-country-skiing-track-haj-nicovo-liptovsky-mikulas","status":"publish","type":"route","link":"https:\/\/plannervisit.krasno.dev\/en\/route\/cross-country-skiing-track-haj-nicovo-liptovsky-mikulas\/","title":{"rendered":"The track of World War II memorial H\u00e1j Nicov\u00f4"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Re-opening of the ski resort Podbreziny gives the opportunity to modify the tracks in H\u00e1j Nicov\u00f4 using the help of snow groomer and artificial snow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In case of exceptional snow conditions, it is possible to modify the route from H\u00e1j to the valley \u017diarsk\u00e1 dolina. By connecting these two areas of cross-country skiing, a route up to 12 km long in one direction can be created, with an extension to the cottage \u017diarska chata by 5 km more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The planned route starts at the parking lot at World War II memorial H\u00e1j \u2013 Nicovo and follows towards the upper station of the ski lift. Here the route turns and with a gradual descent it takes us near the crossroad towards the village Smre\u010dany. From there, the route rises again along the the route called General Kuna&#8217;s path to the main parking lot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The route offers magnificent views of the region Liptov. Just a few meters from the upper station of the ski lift, there is a monument commemorating the victims of World War II. Cross-country skiing on the H\u00e1j Nicov\u00f4 makes it possible to combine sport with learning about the history of our territory.
