Liptovský Mikuláš
The centre is Liptovský Mikuláš, from which the visitor of the region can comfortably get not only to Jasná but also find the popular Tatralandia on its edge.
In addition, the city centre is full of history and it is worth visiting, for example, the Janko Kráľ Museum, where there is also the torture chamber of the famous bandit Juraj Jánošík and the Slovak Museum of Nature Protection and Speleology.
Ružomberok
The second centre of Liptov is Ružomberok. The town is perfectly connected with nature and in a few minutes, the visitor can get from the town to Hrabovská and Čutkovská valleys, where there is not only beautiful nature but also a wide range of activities.

The smallest town of Liptov is Liptovský Hrádok with a very popular historical castle Grand Castle.
